Our library is located in a Carnegie built Library. The corner stone was laid in 1911. We have approximately 17, 000 books in our collection. This covers adult fiction & non fiction, children's fiction & non fiction, audio books and CD's, Movies in DVD formats, daily newspapers and magazines. We have 5 computers with public access DSL internet connections. We have a special room with PA state & local histories as well as early cemetery records for public use. Our newly remodeled children's area has new shelving, wonderful books, a children's play area with puzzles, toys, manipulative toys, puppets and a parenting section. " The Mission of the Mansfield Free Public Library is to provide a modern library education and reference system to area residents through printed materials, films, educational programs and computer and internet access."
