Dr. Olson grew up in Mankato, Minnesota. She earned her undergraduate degree at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. She attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, MO. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, IA, where she served as chief resident. She then completed her Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where she also served as chief fellow. She joined MNGI Digestive Health in September 2022.
