Tritt Elementary School was established in 1980 and is located in Marietta, Ga. The school s facility includes personnel services suite, individual study rooms, storage rooms, teacher workrooms and a media center. It provides educational instruction to children in grades kindergarten through five and is operated by the Cobb County Public School System. The school offers classes in various subjects, including art, foreign language, special education, reading, writing, English, math, science, social studies, health and physical education. It provides a accelerated reader program, which is a curriculum-based assessment tool that provides a summary and analysis of results to enable teachers to monitor quantity and quality of reading practice engaged in by the students. Tritt Elementary School has a school council that works to improve communication and participation between the school and community.
