Having received an email for the one-day only, while supplies last, no rainchecks sale on 12/01/12, I showed up at the store ten minutes before they opened. They were sold out of the one item I wanted before the store opened and didn't even have the decency to pretend to be apologetic. I would have expected that if they were going to run an item on sale "while supplies last" they would at least have a small supply of that item to begin with, but evidently that was expecting too much.



I know that this technically is not bait and switch but it sure feels like it is.



Hobby Lobby is not that far away from my place of employment so it will be a long time, if ever, before I shop at the Cedar Rapids Michaels store again.
