Provided by YP.comThe facilities are decent for a public pool. The hours aren't very flexible for those who work during the day, usually closing by 5pm. A deep-end with a diving board and slides add an extra element of fun. A kiddie pool for the little ones also is an added benefit. I would rate them higher but the guarding terrifies me.
I've been a lifeguard for many years, head guard and senior guard in different locations, and am a CPO. The guarding I have seen each time I have gone is despicable. They are friendly enough, but they have no control. They will be lounging about, playing around in the guard room even while patrons are in the water, barely enforcing rules when they are being broken (maybe if the MOD pops out will a rule be enforced), and/or letting dangerous activities (diving in shallow end, playing about on slide incorrectly, swimming in deep-end while floatation dependent, etc.) go on.
If you come with children, don't let them go around by themselves (you never should anyways) and keep a mindful eye over them. Relying on the lifeguards at this pool isn't something I would do.
The pool wouldn't be half bad if it weren't for the lax guarding standards. It is the only public pool that is cheap and somewhat decent in the area.
Swim at your own risk.
