FTS has outrageous prices. My Carrier heat pump was, according to their Tec, 4lbs low on coolant R-410A. I was billed $49.00 truck fee to my door but what ticked me off was the $233.00 on top of that just to add 4 lbs. of R-410 Freon. Which worked out to cost me $58.25 per pound and this guy hadn't so much as taken one screw out of my unit to look inside and there was holding this outrageous bill. Their Tec. took 1hr 45 to let the coolant flow into my heat pump which he had rounded up to 2hr of labor. When I complained about the price he said he don't set the price the company does. However, he then went back and opened the side panel and re attached his analyzer which took another 15 minutes which he couldn't have billed me for because he had previously given me my bill. My total bill was $272.00. The truth to the matter is R-410 coolant shouldn't cost no more than $22.00 per lb. installed. The number I dialed was 417-588-4328 which is or was the number for Custom Comfort but when asked why my bill had FTS on it I was told they rolled it up with FTS. I call their head shed and told them I wouldn't be needing their services anymore and to delete my file. They are no longer who I thought they were and as far as FTS accreditation goes it is not Better Business Bureau Accredited. I believed I was ripped off.
