I tried to make an appointment with this doctor for a back injury.
His scheduler asked me what insurance carrier I had.
I told her I didn't have any health insurance, that I would be paying cash.
She said they don't take cash.
No check, no cash.
Just insurance.
The search for civilization continues.
Oh.. and did I mention she was really, really b i t c h y about it?
