Just like the title says, I broke down at mile marker 69. I found 1-81 travel plaza on Google and called them it was 10pm on a Saturday night, they came out and towed my big rig to their shop. I decided to stay the night in the hotel: clean room, comfortable bed and reasonable rate for a broken down trucker like myself. I had breakfast and by 9:30 am my rig was fixed and I was back on the road. I can’t thank Donnie, the mechanics at the shop, and everyone at the I-81 truck stop enough for their quick and efficient service which helped me get back on the road making money as-soon-as-possible! I recommend I-81 Travel Plaza to any one of my fellow truckers stuck with a break down, looking for a hot home cooked meal, or needing a room for some much needed rest.
