Established in 1888, First Presbyterian Church is a congregation of varying ages with emphasis on the preaching of the Holy Book. Based in Bessemer, Ala., it offers various groups and activities, such as Adult Bible Study, chancel choir, handbell choir, youth groups and Presbyterian Women Circle. Additionally, the religious organization organizes Sunday schools for nursery, preschool, kindergarten, primaries, juniors, middle school, high school and adults group.
