I shop here often out of necessity. Every single time I go to this particular Joann Fabrics, I have to find someone to wait on me. If an employees sees me waiting to ring up, more often than not, I am ignored. Often, it seems there are only 2 employees in the entire store. I wait a minimum of 10 minutes each and every time I shop there!

Awful customer service. Employee sent my mother home with the wrong amount of fabric. My mom called, and sent my sister back up to the store to get the correct amount of fabric. when my sister went to get the rest, she asked if she could keep the wrong amount of fabric (since THEY made the mistake, and since my sister had to drive 15 minutes back to the store), and the employee said they couldn't "just hand out fabric." she then had the nerve to ask my sister "well, how far away do you live?" and after my sister replied, the employee responded, "oh, we'll that isn't a bad drive." just ridiculous!!!! No respect for the customer.



Not visiting this particular Jo Ann fabrics store ONCE, have I ran into a respectful employee. They all seem to give me the cold shoulder, too little information, or simply rude remarks.



Bummer, too, since this is a very new store in th mchenry area and I am already turned off.
