I was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, where I lived until 2017 As a small town girl, I decided to branch out and explore new things by moving to Memphis, Tennessee to further my career I only speak English, although I would love to learn other languages in the future Growing up, my grandmother suffered from seizures We later learned these were brought on by a brain tumor I would often care for her, learning along the way how to recognize the early signs of a seizure It was this care the inspired me to pursue a career in the medical field in hopes I could make a difference in other peopleTMs lives
