My concern comes from what I observed today while for the first time picking up my son from Farmdale Elm. School. It was total chaos, no control over the situation at all, the drop off and pick up of the children is very dangerous, unacceptable, and chaotic, confusing, irritating, frustration all at once. My other concern is that the teachers at the gates; letting the children go out to meet their parents only if they see them makes no sense to me at all, because I see many 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 year olds walking alone home without any supervision. That to me is very ironic, How could you not allow the child to get out of the gate without identifying the parent first, yet you allow the other children walk the streets alone, while walking home after school... When those are the children that you should not be allowing to get out of the gate.

I will start a parent awareness about this important problem, that needs to be solved immediately.... and also a signed petition in regards to these matters, my letter will be both in English and Spanish...
