Typical of an hoa I guess

The community manager does a poor job of balancing the needs of the residents with those of the HOA board. In my opinion, she acts as a dedicated agent to those in power and does her best to squash the requests of the residents in support of the board.

At a minimum, I would expect professional courtesy from the community manager but instead, email requests from residents frequently go unanswered, her tone is angry rather than helpful and in general she is not forthcoming with information that would help to advance your request.

It is my understanding that the community manager's role is to represent both the residents of the HOA and the board of the HOA. This is not the case in my HOA development.

This is not the way I envisioned my retirement.

Very unprofessional staff with a bullying management style. Water is constantly being wasted when watering the landscaping, waste money needlessly with a new pool key system, dangerous peeling of railings leaving jagged rusted metal and it goes on and on.

They do not keep their properties safe.
