Dr. Shlafer graduated with honors from UW-Eau-Claire and then completed his Doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University in 1983. He has worked at the Edina Pearle Vision for 24 years and is especially interested in managing contact lens patients and in the treatment of eye diseases. He is grateful to be able to work in a practice (that he can bike to) which has modern equipment, an experienced staff, and a superb frame selection. Other interests include family, nordic skiing and running.
