Founded in 1985, Sharing & Caring Hands is a certified nonprofit, charitable organization that works to fulfill the needs of the poor. It provides meals, clothing, showers, shelter, furniture, and transportation and rent help to poor people. The organization offers assistance in the areas of dental care and school expenses. Sharing & Caring Hands maintains a food shelf that supplies more than 20,000 meals every month, as well as provides clothing, household goods, towels and cleaning supplies. It also operates a teen center that features reading, weight and television rooms, as well as offers a variety of activities, such as pool, air hockey, ping-pong and basketball. Sharing & Caring Hands is located in Minneapolis.
