Dakota Elementary School serves students of grades kindergarten through six. The elementary school offer classes in English, mathematics, science, social studies, language arts, music and physical education. The school offers a variety of special education classes for talented and gifted students. The school s library has a wide collection of fiction and nonfiction books, subject books, magazines and reference material for teachers. It also provides several organizations, such as Minot Recreation Commission, YMCA and booster clubs. The school runs a food program that serves chicken patty, chicken nuggets, hamburger, cheeseburger, pizza, hot dog and milk. The school is located in Minot AFB, N.D., and is a part of Minot Public Schools.
