In 2000, I spent 3 months in Monette, AR area while Mom went through cancer treatment in Memphis, TN. I stopped in to make copies and fell in love with this little 2 room library. I’m not sure if it was the cozy fireplace (not burning, it was summer), the friendly helpful librarian or just needing a release from stress that created my desire to stay awhile. I browsed their magazines, newspapers and sewing books whenever I had a chance. Always a welcoming experience. The library is small compared to others but definitely has a special ambiance.
