The University of Montevallo offers undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic areas and has an annual enrollment of over 3,000 students. It is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges. The university includes more than five residence halls and a more than 90,000-square-foot student activity center. It has a staff of more than 135 full-time and over 75 part-time faculty members. The university organizes various sporting activities that include cross country, basketball, soccer, golf, tennis and volleyball. It offers degree programs in business administration, fine arts, music, foreign languages, math, chemistry, social sciences and general education.
