The management shows appreciation and the pay is fair.

OK, its a call center, so what do you expect... right? I must say that I did expect a bit more. So, here is what you have to look forward to, should you decide to take on a CST position at Convergys. You will be working with outdated equipment and software with many unnecessary steps. You will be equipped with inefficient training, especially when thrown on the floor taking calls after just 4 WEEKS. After those 4 weeks, they pair you up with a classmate, instead of someone who is experienced. Almost like the blind leading the blind! You will be required to not just handle technical issues, but billing, sales, delivery, ect. Bathroom breaks are expected to be taken during one of your regular 15 minute breaks, or during lunch. Though the rule is not enforced until after 4 weeks, if nature calls during regular work hours and you are a female, BE PREPARED. There is absolutely no leniency. Using the bathroom during pregnancy outside of your breaks and lunch requires a doctors' excuse..Just Sayin'. Food is not allowed in cubical areas. Few people heed this rule consistently, probably because of the requisite of taking your bathroom break during your lunch or 15 minute break. Certain trainers seemed to enjoy speaking to and treating some classmates like a child, which is sometimes expected if you act like one. There was obviously a better way to handle the situation, which I would assume was not explored because of their lack of maturity, culture, and education. If you have a weak personality or are a pushover, be prepared for mental and verbal abuse. Currently, management has a lot to be desired. However even if management could improve, the market for Satellite TV is slowly fading, replaced by online streaming services, or streaming devices. I hope this helps someone.
