The previous reviewer obviously does not understand Dr Horvitz and his practice.
I am always offered same day appointments, my appointment times are longer, and he actually takes the time to listen.
Try getting that out of your HMO doctor!!
If you believe in a trusting relationship with your doctor, and a doctor who looks out for your best medical interests instead of your insurances best interests, then you should see Dr. Horvitz.
