The Parks Division is maintained by the Community Services Department of the city of Mount View, Calif., which offers recreational programs and services, as well as maintains the city parks, roadways and several landscaped areas. The department organizes various community events and volunteer services programs for individuals. It operates a senior center and provides services for teenagers and youths. The community services department also operates a number of divisions. The Parks Division protects and maintains more than 30 urban parks and over four miles of bicycle and pedestrian trails. It also maintains Mountain View's shoreline and regional open spaces throughout the city.
