In regards to living in Central Square at Watermark. The quick version:



1) Don't live there if you're between the ages of 21 and 35.

2) Don't live there if you like money in your bank account.

3) Don't live there unless you're a lawyer. Or married to a lawyer. Or close friends with a lawyer.



In regards to living in Central Square at Watermark. The long version:



1) They seem to want to punish people for being young. If you are between the ages of about 21 to 35 (no matter if you're a young professional with a stable job), you will be treated like a "kid." You will be yelled at for playing with beach balls in the pool; you will be told to fix your window blinds if an employee notices they're twisted. The unfriendly employees will not care about any of your complaints. In fact, they will stomp all over you.



2) When you move out, they will keep your deposit, no matter how clean you leave the place. They'll even add on charges, and you won't be able to do a thing about it. If you already live there (sorry), take pictures of every inch of the place before you go to keep as evidence. OR just throw a huge party and leave a mess. I suppose the second option would be more fun, considering they'll try and take your money either way.



3) In regards to items 1 and 2, I suppose if I (or one of my roommates) had been a lawyer, these would not have been issues. I don't know much about real estate law, but the Watermark behavior feels criminal. There's something not quite right about the way they run things--something, dare I say, fascist.



In regards to living in Central Square at Watermark. Conclusion:

IF YOU WANT TO HANG ONTO YOUR BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS AND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY, LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE.
