Located in Mullins, S.C., Pee Dee Academy is a college preparatory school that offers a variety of academic and recreational opportunities for more than 480 students in kindergarten through grade 12. Founded in 1965, the academy conducts classes in English, math, science and social studies. It offers lessons in reading, language arts and writing. Pee Dee Academy provides courses in physical education, music and computer technology. Its facilities include science and computer laboratories, administrative offices, libraries and classrooms. The academy offers various sports activities that include football, baseball, softball and tennis. It provides membership for a booster club, as well as hosts various fundraising events. Pee Dee Academy is a member of the South Carolina Independent School Association.
