I absolutely love how the idea of having fun together can be accomplished in the same place where solid Bible study is going on. It never ceases to amaze me how God's Word always has something to say to everyone in the room when you just teach it verse by verse and let it say what it says. What a blessing!

I had always attended the same type of church until I stumbled into Calvary Chapel because of a girlfriend.

The pastor teaches chapter by chapter and verse by verse.

What a concept ... right?

I come out of service wanting to reread from last service and read about what will be discussed during our next meeting. Now, I am actually spending time with The Word, praying openly with my family, forgiving others, and forgiving myself ... and changing my life.

Calvary Chapel Murfreesboro is filled with warm, friendly folks - you feel like family. Pastor Phillip is the best kept secret in the Boro - he's a gifted Bible teacher who truly cares for each person who enters the door - whether he's known you for years or met you 5 minutes ago. CC is a place where you actually bring your Bible to church - and each service IS a Bible study. Pastor Phillip teaches through God's Word verse by verse, chapter by chapter (and throws in a sense of humor along the way!). I'm so blessed God led me to this place... His place.
