Wow! For those of you that are facing an appointment for endodontics (root canal), stop worrying right now. I cannot express to you enough how great of an experience I had with Dr. Matthew Fowler and his team. Olga, Dr. Fowler's assistant, treated me with such kindness that allowed me to immediately feel at ease. Her demeanor and overall presentation brought about a calmness prior to me meeting the doctor. When Dr. Fowler entered the room, he exuded compassion and genuine concern for my feelings. Very professional and gentle, Dr. Fowler sat next to me and explained the X-rays previously taken at my dentist's office and, after thorough examination, explained my options. He introduced the process of today's procedure (the amount of time the procedure would take and announced when he was nearing the end of the process). I did not feel an ounce of pain! Dr. Fowler offers the lowest rates in The Valley, with excellent quality of care. Very hard to find these days, Dr. Fowler knows his job, knows it well, and is truly in business to serve people.

This is the model place of why my wife and I write reviews. On Monday Feb 25, 2013 my wife terrified of what to expect was scheduled for an appointment with Matthew A. Fowler D.M.D., P.C. his office is located at 347 W. Iowa Ave. Nampa, Idaho 83686 Dr. Fowler is a specialist in the field of Endodontic practice. Dr. Fowler was referred to us by Gary Schnell, D.D.S. 1417 South Kimball Ave. Nampa, Idaho.83605. My wife after seeing Dr. Schnell was told that she needs to have a specialist perform a root canal on a tooth he looked at. Well with both my wife and I and probably most people the uncertainty of the procedure a head and the fact of a certain un comfortability and some bad experiences were enough to have us ask Dr. Schnell for a prescription to help with my wife’s anxieties before this appointment. We were welcomed by the Dr. Fowlers Assistant at 8:00 am asked to fill out some forms and questions and felt like she was genuinely concerned with my wife’s situation. It is always refreshing to know even though for the person that has first contact with the patient and does this with people many times a day, week that they still have the alertness and compassion to know that most people are in an uncomfortable state when visiting this office. My wife was made as comfortable as she could be considering and I was in the room with her for the entire procedure. Dr. Fowler introduced himself and carefully explained the options that we had that were extract the tooth, do nothing with the tooth or perform the root canal. Well as much as anyone would like to take option two and leave the tooth it was not practical. The doctor took more x-rays and explained in detail what was going to happen and about how long to do the work. I was amazed how concerned he was with making sure my wife had no pain she never jumped or flinched she was in a relax state that was pretty amazing to me. The doctor performed the root canal and as I watched it was interesting to see how in tune the doctors assistant was with everything. She made it look like the doctor had 4 hands, I never really heard them even talk much they just always new with great profession what was needed next. Well the complete visit took about 2 hours and my wife was so happy with the results she got from the experience as I was equally impressed if not more. If you need to have a root canal done “DO NOT HESITATE “ look no further this is the doctor you want taking care of you. If you shop around you will find that he is very reasonable the costs was $ 841.00 when we checked around others ranged from $ 1,000.00 up to $2,000.00. Don’t think because it cost less it is less of a service it’s not. I talked to Dr. Fowler and he has a genuine accountability to give his patients the best care at the most reasonable price in the valley area. This all made for an honest 5 star review in our eyes. These reviews we take very serious it is our business remember when you do reviews on someone consider all the circumstances and try to be rational and reasonable. When it comes to the health care reviews consider your own part. Did you act proactively or did you wait too long to get help or treatment their fore enduring more pain. After this visit I can see that if you do something about it before it gets infected or out of hand it can be a smooth painless journey that’s up to you.
