Workers arrived frustrated that their boss had not told them the roof was tin or that the material was granular, but after several hours, they came to the door to say it was done. The area had been surrounded by caution tape, they wore hazmat suits and respirators so of course, my little kids & I didn't go inspect it. When time came to tear down the remainder we found copious asbestos granules on the ceiling. I sent photos, a letter, & check for the labor removing the roofing. I asked them to talk with me in place of negative reviews. No response, ignored my calls, but cashed my check. He finally answered. He said I should have told him there was vermiculite. How would I know that? Why didn't he ask me pertinent questions or come test it? He admitted they were unprepared & did incomplete work. He wanted paid in full regardless. I asked, "the money is more important than customer reviews to you?" He said "yes." I guess in a single-use industry, you only need to sucker people once.
