Mr. King is essentially a bull in a china shop and has no regard for the resident's requests to protect other plants while trimming trees. My husband specifically asked him to please be cautious of the hibiscus within falling distance of the branches he was cutting. Instead of having one of his three workers stand and catch or deflect the palm branches on that side to protect our $150 topiary hibiscus - one my husband grew from a cutting and shaped that way - he dropped the branches on the tree, breaking off a total of five healthy branches, totally destroying the tree. When my husband expressed frustration, he informed my husband that that was a stupid place to have his hibiscus to begin with. He then pitched a fit, all the while his cigarette hanging out of his mouth, refused to finish the job, and left. He also destroyed our fig tree. Even one of his workers acknowledged we were right to be upset.
