I have to write to let all know what a wonderful experience i had with Mr Guilfoyle. I had lost my glasses in the river and needed them as i cant see very good. I went to his office and explained to him the problem i had . He called my Eye Dr. and got the RX for my glasses. They are the bifoclas with out the line, Mr Guilfoyle got me my glasses the next day !!! and even saved me over $150.00 !!!! From what i had paid to another optican in the same town... I would recommend him for his quick service and knowlege of picking out the right frame and lenses for my RX....

I have to disagrre with Betsy .. Mr. Guilfoyle has always been very attentive and honest with me and i have used him many times... Maybe Betsy Ross is Really a competitor!!!???He is very knowledgeable and will guide you to the best lenses to fit your RX and frames...

I went in to fill my perscription & was ignored until I finally said something. Very rude man. Felt like he couldn't be bothered & was not interested in my money. Very expensive!!! Would not reccomend to anyone.

excellent service... very competent very fair prices ... he will listen to your needs and then advise you on the proper eyewear .. .new bern is very lucky to have this gentleman he was trained in the Navy .. i cant say enough of this man... He had aa pratice in New York and New Jersy and now he is here in New Bern ...
