Brian Kopell, MD is a pioneering neurosurgeon with extensive clinical and research experience in the use of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for treatment of movement, psychiatric and pain disorders including Parkinson's Disease, tremor, tinnitus, Tourette's Syndrome, OCD and depression. A neuromodulation expert, he has performed over 2,000 DBS procedures. Dr. Kopell completed his residency at NYU and fellowship in Functional and Restorative Neurosurgery at the Cleveland Clinic & University of Zurich.
