By recommendation my wife and I visited this restaurant with what is obvious upon arrival; an amazing view of the Hudson River. Ambiance is dress casual and the room lighting is a bit dark (we went in evening). We visited on a Sunday and the crowd was almost non-existent so we were seated promptly and ordered our meal. It took us almost one hour to get our main courses of which we justified by hoping our meals were prepared extremely fresh. When we finally got our main course it was absolutely amazing and well worth the wait.



However, we almost couldn't justify an hour long wait for food when we've been to other great restaurants with prompter service and still a great meal. If you want a romantic evening with plenty of conversation this is the place to go simply because you will need a great conversation to pass the time while you wait for your main course.



In my opinion, not a great place for families with kids because the kids can get restless with the food preparation time. However it is a family friendly restaurant.
