Dr. Gilbert graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2001 and then completed his postgraduate training in Endodontics from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2003. He is currently a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of Illinois-Chicago, College of Dentistry and on staff at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Gilbert is board certified, a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Dental organization memberships: American Dental Association Illinois State Dental Society Chicago Dental Society American Association of Endodontists Illinois Association of Endodontists Edgar D. Coolidge Chicago Endodontic Study Club College of Diplomates, American Board of Endodontics Dr. Gilbert has served as president of the Illinois Association of Endodontists in 2011 and as President of the Northwest Side Branch of the Chicago Dental Society in 2013-2014. Dr. Gilbert has been a presenter at the Chicago Midwinter Dental meeting, Dubai World Dental Meeting, AEEDC Dental meeting and at the NW Side Branch of the Chicago Dental Society. He lectures nationally and internationally on clinical Endodontics and conducts a two day hands on course at our office location in Niles, Il. Born and raised in the Baltimore area, he graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 1997. He is married and has two children.
