Doughnuts under newest owner have been very good. Hot & fresh, much better than store bought doughnuts.

Have been a loyal customer and in the past have had good experiences but today was bad. Donut's were greasy, as evidenced by the grease stains in the bottom of the box when I got home. Also did not have my first two selections which should be "stock" items I would think on a Saturday morning @7:30 (Maple and Chocolate bars). Complaint is more with the attitude of the owner. When I called to advise him of the quality (wasn't even asking for a refund at this point) he abruptly told me to bring them back to him for a refund. When I got there he went to the trouble to pull 3 donuts out of the case, and break them open in front of me as if to validate they were not greasy and to prove me wrong. One thing I have learned in customer service is to not attempt to prove a customer wrong, and in this case all he would have had to do was look at the greasy box. I believe in shopping local businesses in Nixa, but will never shop here again...specifically because of the owner's attitude, not because of the food quality, as every restaurant can have days where their quality is not 100%. I prefer to do business with people who treat me with respect.
