I paid for two small grave stones in full in December 2015 and they still have not been placed in July 2016. I can't believe I am going to have to go to court to get them to do their job. Avoid at all costs! Im sure there are reputable businesses in this city that will do what they say they will do without all of the excuses!

I ordered and paid in full for a headstone for my parents' grave on 5/22/2015. Seaboard Memorial promised that the headstone would be in place by the end of September, latest. I received a mockup of the proposed headstone from them on 11/29/2015 and the promise that the stone would be finished and in place in two weeks. I called the cemetery today (1/6/2016) and found that not only is the headstone not placed, there has been no arrangement made for the foundation to go in. When I call Seaboard Memorial, I get the answering machine.

I'm just about ready to take this company to small claims to get my money back so I can use another memorial company for the headstone for my parents' grave.

Late in the afternoon on 1/6/2016, I got a phone call from the owner of the company promising to expedite the placement of my parents' stone. He has been very communicative this afternoon, complying very promptly with my request for photos of the stone. I promised him that if he gets the stone placed soon, I will amend my review.

I live 500 miles away and cannot oversee this process easily. I was therefore relying on the professionalism of the memorial company to keep their word or at least keep me informed. I am sorely disappointed. I would heartily NOT recommend Seaboard Memorial to my worst enemy, let alone to anyone whom I regard as a friend.

It was a real pleasure doing business with Seaboard, stone ordered in Feb.2015 came from Canada, it was installed 51 miles from here and placed with ease. Best looking headstone in the cemetery. Very professional through out the whole process, kept me abreast of everything going on.

Ordered and paid for my mom's headstone on September 16, 2014 and as of March 18, 2015 we still have not seen the headstone or received any real answers. Check cleared the bank the same day it was written and all we receive are excuses. EXTREMELY frustrated and disappointed. Was promised Christmas, then promised January, then February....still NOTHING! Review will only post if I give it a star rating even though I dont agree with giving them even one star.
