Eric Acevedo, DC, ATC, is a highly trained chiropractor at Alliance Orthopedics in Freehold, New Jersey. He specializes in rehabilitation of the spine and overall movement and function, focusing on decreasing chronic pain and maximizing function and independence in all activities of life with a specialty in powerlifters and golfers.Eric graduated from Kean University in Union, New Jersey, with his Bachelors degree of science in Athletic Training. From there, Eric attended the University of Bridgeport, where he earned his Doctorate degree in Chiropractic. Fieldwork experiences include work with post-surgical spinal rehabilitation, young athletes at the high school and collegiate level, and treating individuals with various upper extremity, lower extremity and spinal complaints including neurological deficits. As a former athlete, he has a passion for treating athletes to facilitate a return to sport.Eric is certified by the National Board for Chiropractic Examiners and the American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid and CPR. He is also certified in fascial Manipulation, Hawk Grip Technique, and Titleist Performance Institute to work on golf related injuries.
