Walter Schirra Elementary school of Old Bridge is a good school, with good teachers and a horrible Principal. Mrs. Colleen Montuori runs the school like a prison. There have been numerous incidents where she has abused her power and harassed the parents. She uses no level of common sense while running the school, she makes rules and enforces them at a whim. I have to wonder how she treats the students since she is condescending while speaking to adult parents. It is impossible to speak with her. I had an issue that I needed to discuss with her and I called her secretary, the secretary asked me for a detailed email with a reason to speak with her and then she told me that Mrs. Montuori would call me at her convenience. No particular time, just when she had a minute. Ridiculous! If you are looking for a house in the area, PLEASE CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT ZONED FOR THIS SCHOOL!!! You will regret it!
