Dr. Nguyen was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and moved to Washington at the age of 5. He obtained a B.S. in Biology at the University of Washington, Bothell. He would go on to Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa for medical school. During medical school, he embarked on an international rotation in Vietnam, an experience that deepened his commitment to global health. He remains devoted to implementing proven methods to enhance the well-being of local communities. Within the realm of family medicine, he is particularly interested in global health, integrative medicine, and sports medicine.
