Will come back good brew, good atmosphere

Upstream catered my wedding. I got married about six weeks ago. The best part about them catering my reception was the food. It was delicious. The bad part was everything else. The catering coordinator was so uncommunicative and unavailable throughout the entire planning process. She promised to coordinate so many aspects of the reception's details and then didn't even show up to the reception (though she said she would be there). I'll also never forget the fact that they tried to charge me a $400 delivery fee because one of their suppliers didn't want to deliver on a Sunday. This charge was brought to my attention just three days before the actual wedding! We had known that my wedding was on a Sunday for months and months. Basically...they way overpromise and WAY underdeliver. I could have given my $5000 for 100 people to another caterer.

We held our daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner here. It was amazing. Maria was wonderful to work with prior to the evening, returned every phone call and e-mail. The evening was so nice. The staff was so relaxed and fun. They were quick with drinks and anything we needed. And the food was amazing. The stress of it all melted away once we arrived. It was great.

I recently visited Omaha and my son chose this restraunt for his birthday dinner. It is better suited to adults. There were 5 of us in the group. Half of us in the group were happy with our food and half were not happy. It has a social/noisy atmosphere. The staff were very speedy until it came time to get our bill. We had to go find the person to bring the bill to us.

You want to take out the girlfriend/Wife/signifigant other? The Upstream is a GREAT place to start. Great Food, great brews, but it is nice enough that would feel just fine bringing in your mom. An Upscale atmosphere, without the Upscale prices. Easy to find, on a prominet corner in the Old Market, right across from the south parking garage!

What a great time! This place is so much fun. Casual, but not your typical bar food by any means. You've got to try it....you'll love it!
