In November 2017, this man, working through *********, let my dog outside without a leash and she ran away one hour after we dropped her off. He thought it was ok to put her leash & collar on in the front yard…. Not in the house. You may have seen the posters plastered all over Osterville of our sweet 9 year old dog, Chewy. She was missing for 10 days in the freezing cold. My family, many volunteers and I looked for her day and night. She got hit by a car the first night and survived. She got hit again on the 10th night and was killed. This man never apologized to me. Never offered to help look for her or put up flyers. He was sitting in his house watching tv the night my dog went missing while my family & I were frantically looking for her. You only need to see the anguish and pain on my 4 children’s faces to know this man should never pet sit again. In addition, this man did this TWO other times before with other dogs, but they were found (1/16/16 and 2/14/17).
