This was my 4th trip to Pagosa Springs in as many years. Usually, my husband and I come in the winter for skiing at Wolf Creek and dinner at the Bramwell's rustic cabin. This time, I brought a friend for a fall trip and we went for a 2 hour trail ride with Gary (Mr. Bramwell). My friend hadn't been on a horse in a hundred years (her words), but before long, she was right at home. Gary never let anyone get far behind and kept a close eye on everyone. We rode through beautiful terrain with magnificent views of the mountains. The horses were great, too ... great temperament and easy to ride. there were even a couple of little girls on the ride (probably under 8 yrs old) that were new to horses and they did great! I would highly recommend Astraddle A Saddle if you want to go for a trail ride in the area. I just can't say enough great things about Gary and Faye Bramwell. Just another reason to return to Pagosa Springs!
