Arrived around 10pm to friendly staff and smooth check in after a long exhausting drive. Got into our room and were going to bed immediately. Hide a bed was broken so waited for the friendly maintenance to try to repair it. He couldn’t and sent us to another room. Packed up our stuff and headed to the other room.

Once in the other room we realized it was not clean and had not been picked up. Blood was on the toilet and used feminine products in the trash. We called the front office and they told us we were moved there by accident. They asked us to return to our old room which we did. The friendly maintenance man brought in a new hide a bed and exchanged it for the broken one.

Once we were ready for bed (around 11:30pm) we realized we couldn’t get the room warmed up. The room was at 64 degrees. The kids were cold but we were just too tired to call the front desk again to fix another problem.

The next day the maintenance man corrected the heating problem. The second night we tried to watch a movie in the room and the repair guy was in there trying to fix it for approx 30 mins unsuccessfully.

The good:
Super friendly staff, the free reception hour was quick, pool amenities were great, the grounds were beautiful and the hotel was quiet.

Overall stay we’d rate it at a 3. The front staff asked how our stay was. We told them about the problems in a nice respectful manner. My advice to Embassy Suites staff is to offer compensation to guests who experience so many problems. We didn’t ask for any compensation and they didn’t offer any. Would we stay here again? Probably not, we would check out other hotels in the area.
