Payson Junior High School, an educational institution is a part of the Nebo School District, which owns and operates Goshen Elementary School, Mapleton Junior High School and Wilson Elementary School. It employs a staff of more than 60 teachers and paraprofessionals who offer classes in math, science, social studies and English. The school provides learning sessions in computers, arts, sewing, drama, physical education, Spanish, and band and orchestra. Located in Payson, Utah, it enrolls students in grades eight through nine and provides several sporting activities that include cross country, football, golf, volleyball, wrestling, tennis, basketball, and track and field. Payson Junior High School also maintains a parent-teacher association and offers a monthly newsletter, Parent Still Make the Difference.
