Green Banner Publications is a network of community newspapers that reaches more than 60,000 homes in adjacent areas of southern Indiana. The company has been owned and operated by the Green Family since 1933. Green Banner s The Washington County Edition is a weekly, total-coverage newspaper for Washington County, Ind., and is distributed to more than 11,000 homes on Wednesdays. The Scott County Journal & The Chronicle is a weekly subscription newspaper that serves Scottsburg and Austin, Ind., as well as the surrounding Scott County area. This paper is distributed on Saturday to more than 4,700 homes. The Banner-Gazette, which is distributed to more than 17,000 homes, and The Leader are additional papers within the Green Banner network. Green Banner Publications is located in Pekin, Ind.
