Without a doubt the best place within 50 miles or more to get your car serviced. I moved to Petoskey twenty years ago from the Detroit area. So, I was pretty cynical when it to my opinion of auto repair places. Even back then Bill's was highly recommended to me. And I've never looked back. Obviously, in twenty years I've had several vehicles serviced at Bill's. And the work is impeccable. Prices are reasonable. Much better than a dealership. And best of all. You can trust Bill's to never do work you don't need. I have two examples: I went in and told them I needed a complete brake job. They gave me a price and I left my car. When I got back they had found I didn't need a complete brake job, many parts were found to have a lot more life in them. And I drove away with a much lower bill. My second example was when my heater stopped working on my 20+-year-old 1995 Bronco. They looked at it and thought it was a defect in the head that need to be sent out. They gave me a price and I left it with them. I expected the work to take a few days. They called me, later in the day and told me it was just a bad water pump. Now they could have gone ahead with the much more expensive repair. I wouldn't have known any better. But, they're HONEST.
