EmailIn college I discovered the innovative designs of early 20th century fashion designers such as Madeleine Vionnet and Christian Dior. I fell in love with the silhouettes, the details, the chic style. I started Sew Chic after almost 10 years of doing free lance design for both private customers and industry doing mainly bridal gowns and wedding parties. Knowing the difficulty with both personal fit and style in Ready to Wear, I felt that pattern making for the home sewist, along with teaching, was the best way to serve my community.
