A qualified staff of doctors, professional nurses, social workers, clergy and volunteers support patients and their families with in-home and in-facility hospice care. For in-facility care, Avera operates several hospice houses, and we are able to provide hospice care in other facilities around the region. This hospice office is located inside Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre, SD. Staff here help coordinate hospice services for patients at home. New or referred patients may call Avera@Home for help and an expert will assist you.
