You should do your own research about the attorney that you are considering hiring.



Trustworthy: NO!!! In my opinion, the first time I met Keith Mikush, he came off as a caring trustworthy lawyer who had my best interest, and I thought he believed in what I was fighting for, unfortunately I realized he was the exact opposite, after I had already paid the $1,500 retainer fee. Keith Mikush never sent me monthly statements as he promised, so that I could accurately keep track of where my retainer fee was going. I had asked Keith Mikush multiple times to send me my monthly statements, he insisted that he would, but never followed through. After I fired Keith Mikush, he sends me an idolize billing statement advising that I had went over the $1,500 retainer fee, and that I had a balance. The few interactions that I had with Keith Mikush prior, he never once advised that I went over the $1,500 retainer fee, until I fired him and requested that he reimburse me the balance left from the retainer fee. Keith Mikush would never respond to or address the retainer fee questions that I had asked in multiple emails,until I called him out, and he then emailed me a copy of the billing statement along with the order of the court, that he had also mailed to me the same day. In my opinon I felt Keith Mikush tried to come off as if he was doing me a favor by crediting the balance owed.



Responsive: NO!!! In my opinion, Keith Mikush had a trend of not getting back to me in a timely matter. At first Keith Mikush would get back to me in a reasonable time, but it was very much short lived. Keith Mikush would advise on multiple occasions that we needed to meet prior to upcoming scheduled events, and I would never hear from him. When questioned, Keith Mikush would ignore the question, not address, and purposely overlook his wrong doing. At one time Keith Mikush advised that he would contact me the next day, and after waiting over a week and not hearing from Keith Mikush I ended up contacting him, and requested to terminate our business relationship. Once again Keith Mikush did not take ownership of any of his negligence. Keith Mikush was a horrible listener, he did not care.





Knowledgeable: NO!!! In my opinion, Keith Mikush had conflicting information on papers that he had sent out, I contacted Keith Mikush the day prior to the scheduled event, and he advised me of the opposite information then what he had sent out. When I realized it the morning of, I contacted Mr. Keith Mikush to clarify the discrepancies, so that I would not be late, or miss the court ordered class, Keith Mikush did not reply to my calls, text, or respond to my emails until two days later, never addressing the mistake he made. Keith Mikush should have known the location that I was to be at, due to this is what he does on a daily bases, I had to find out through my own research.





Kept me informed: NO!!! In my opinion, at the very beginning yes, but it was very short lived. Keith Mikush was not organized, and did not know how to have a good attorney/client relationship. I never heard from him, he never followed through on his promises. Keith Mikush was not consistent, and was unreliable.
