I recently had a TV mounted on my wall by Ben. He responded to my post on Thumbtack quickly and he came by the next day on-time. Care was taken not to make a mess by laying down painters plastic and he understood my concerns due to my house being old plaster and lathe. It seemed he knew what he was doing and has done TV mounts before. I saw on thumbtack some of his prior work which looked good and he was the only one who sent a bid that had proof of insurance and a decent history & reviews. The TV needed an outlet behind it so he used one of those flat outlets in the wall. It looks great and is level and it all works. I had an issue with my cable starting back up which I had the day before so I don't think it was caused by him but he stayed to fix that and made sure I was happy before he left. Overall I think he did a fantastic job and would recommend him to anybody.

I've used him on a few occasions for renovations to my rentals. He does most types of residential work, but I think he more specializes in framing and drywall. At least thats what he's mostly done for me.

I had a set of concrete steps in front of my house that needed replaced. I found Ben on a CL listing and he seemed legit enough to try. After several other people I tried getting to come out failed to even show up, Ben came that day and had an estimate emailed over to me that night. He went over a couple options and I settled on precast steps. They are in now and look great.
