The Lower Shore Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization that serves over 3,000 members and offers more than 100 programs. It organizes summer day camps for youths and offers basketball, soccer and field hockey for teens. The organization s aquatics department offers a variety of activities, including group and private swimming lessons, water exercise classes, and lifeguard certification and recertification classes. The Lower Shore Family YMCA offers health and wellness programs that include classes in Pilates, cycling, yoga, and high- and low-impact aerobics. It also offers a variety of sports activities, such as T-ball and baseball. In addition, the organization provides several after-school child care programs for elementary school students.
