I've been coming to this place for a while. They have great fried chicken and they serve white/red beans depending on the day, they also serve other stuff but most people that I know come for the Fried or baked chicken. Now, the food is good, service is okay, but one thing that gripes me about this place is that this place is freaking filthy. They have spider web and stuff hanging from the ceiling, all the blinds are covered in greasy filth and so are the walls. I can almost guarantee you that if someone called the health department on this place, it would be shut down. Personally, I think the owner (who works there) is a very tight, and does not want to invest money in updating/cleaning/restoration/whateverthehellyouwanttocall it. But goddamn, I dont see why you couldn't pay your workers for like two days (weekend) and clean the place up, get rid of the spider webs on the ceiling and greasy stuff on the windows blinds. I swear if I get sick I'm calling the health departments on them.
