Recently, on a Saturday the starter on my car began to malfunction and wouldn't start. The starter I needed was not available through any of the normal parts stores and I was forced to purchase one from a salvage yard, however the salvage yard was in Shelton and the trip was unfortunately, over an hours drive. Even more unfortunately the garage was closed for the day and I needed to be back in the Tacoma area on Sunday. I spoke with Ian, the owner and explained my situation, I thanked him for what he had done up to that point and I fully expected him to say he couldn't help with installation of the replacement because the business was closed for the day but instead, Ian told me he would install the replacement part after I returned. Long story short, I was incredibly moved by Ian's willingness to go the extra 500 miles to help a customer, one in this case, he had never met. I have been in the area for over twenty years and this is the very first customer service experience I felt compelled to tell others about. Great business owner as well as a great person, thank you soooo much for helping me and I assure you I'll send everyone I know who needs auto servicing to you!
